We're thrilled to introduce our Rider of the Month, Miles!
As a Harley-Davidson salesman and passionate rider, Miles is deeply immersed in the motorcycle world, always keeping up with the latest trends. Riding his 2023 Harley-Davidson Road Glide ST, he embraces the performance-driven shift in the industry and knows what it takes to enhance both style and safety on the road.
He shares a lot of great content on Instagram and on Youtube.
We had the chance to chat with Miles about his riding journey, gear choices, and insights into the future of motorcycling. Here’s what he had to say:

What motorcycles are you riding?
Riding a 2023 Harley-Davidson Road Glide ST.
How did you get into riding in the first place?
I work at a Harley-Davidson dealership as a salesman, so I see all kinds of trends in the motorcycle world. Right now, performance accessories for Harleys are huge, especially with the popularity of King of the Baggers. Over the next couple of years, I expect performance trends to keep growing, while things like big wheel baggers fade out—that’s just not cool anymore! It’s all about performance now.
What motorcycle trends do you anticipate in the next year or so?
Performance accessories are the big thing right now, and with King of the Baggers gaining popularity, I see that trend continuing to grow. Big wheel baggers are out—it’s all about performance and making bikes ride better and faster.
How are you protecting yourself when riding?
I try to ride with protective gear any chance I get. I rock the Bell SRT modular helmet and all the Beyond Riders gear! It’s totally comfortable and gives me peace of mind.

Are you part of a local rider community? Please elaborate.
I work at a Harley-Davidson dealership, so I help the entire community in my area (Charlotte, NC). I rarely have time to go on rides because of work, but I’ll ride with anybody!
What would you tell a new rider ahead of his first ride?
I speak with new riders all the time, and my advice is to practice as much as possible. Don’t go straight onto the highway—find a nice area where you can work on slow maneuvers and build confidence. The more seat time you have, the more comfortable and confident you’ll be on the road.
What's your preferred area for riding and why?
I can’t stand city traffic, so when I ride, I try to get out on the back roads. I avoid crowded areas at all costs and look for open roads with nice curves.
What's your favorite day of the week for riding?
Saturday or Sunday! During the week, traffic is too crazy with people commuting. But on weekends, the roads open up, making for a much better ride.
How did you first hear about Beyond Riders?
I’m a YouTuber, and I stumbled across a few other YouTubers wearing Beyond Riders gear. I liked how it looked and wanted to be protected, so I had to try it out.
What do you like most about our products?
The quality! You can tell the craftsmanship that went into it. The details stand out, and not only is it top-notch in terms of protection, but it’s also super comfortable and versatile.
What products or features would you like us to offer next?
I think Beyond Riders should start making different types of gear. Maybe some beanies or gloves? I love all the camo stuff! Motorcycle-style riding boots or sneakers would be rad too!
Thanks Miles for answering these questions!
